Magnetic USB Catch

I would like to see a magnetic extension for USB devices to prevent damage to laptops, USB devices and tripping people up! Here’s how it works: You plug the first part of the connector into your computer or laptop. It fits completely inside the USB socket and lies flush with the surface of the computer. You can then plug your USB device into the second part of the connector. Both parts connect magnetically together. This means that the connector will come free if the device is pulled or yanked, or if someone trips over a cable.

This is similar to Mac’s magnetic power cord except it is a cheap connector which can be used on any USB device.
